“The David Beckham Academy welcomes all young players regardless of their ability - we offer something to each and every player who walks through our doors”

The National Schools Programme is one of the largest grassroots sports initiatives in the UK. With the help of founding partner Volkswagen Touran, over 10,000 children benefit from the programme each year.

Volkswagen provides transport for schools free of charge to The David Beckham Academy within the local area (to date 26,890 children have visited the Academy as part of the programme)

Thanks to our partners Volkswagen, there is no charge for attending the National Schools Programme which aims to:

• Provide students with a fun, exciting educational day
• Encourage further participation in football and other sport
• Use football as a base for other learning and linked to the National Curriculum
• Support teachers with the development of their football teaching / coaching
• Promote the DBA as progressive , innovative, inclusive and child centred
